Now that (almost) all the tracks are laid on my home layout in the attic, it might be nice to show the track plan. I have entered everything into Traincontroller. As previously noted, my BMB module Corfe Castle is built-in (see top), and the buildings from my previous module Wateringbury have found a place (see bottom). The layout consists of two looping sections: - An outer loop (P01 to P08) - An inner loop (B01 to B07) Both sections can be used independently in both directions, both analog (based on Fleischmann transformers) and digital (based on YaMorC 7001). There are two passing loops on the outer loop (P02 and P04). When using analog traffic, these need to be de-energized depending on the switch positions. With the passing loops, the outer loop can be operated with more trains in both directions. The inner loop can also be operated with two trains in both directions, using P6/B7 (Wateringbury) and B02/B03 (Corfe Castle) as passing loops. In this case, the traffic on the outer loop cannot circulate. Finally, it's convenient to have space to park trains. The sidings A01 to A08 provide sufficient space. Siding A08 is connected to a manually operated turntable from Dapol.
