#FTF again! I had a few problems today, while trying to photograph my freight trains. First of all, one of the O&K Yeoman hoppers kept dropping off the track, in the most oddest of places. It turned out to be ‘twisted’ axles! In other words, they weren’t parallel and square in the bogie! The metal bearings somehow got out of alignment and I had to carefully twist them back to square them up! Strange, but it worked, luckily! Then 47319 kept uncoupling from its train. I was getting confused! Anyway, that turned out to be a spring missing off the Kadee coupling. That was soon sorted, as I have a bag full of spare springs. But, as I was running trains I decided to put a different 47 on the Norsk Hydro. I have just brought 47361 Wilton Endeavour (nothing to do with inspector Morse!) from England and fitted a decoder, so this was its first run on the layout and it has the correct livery, Railfreight Distribution sub sector diamonds. Here is a short video. It ran well, considering it hasn’t run for about 13 years!! Both 47’s are original Heljan ones.
