Making Tracks Four at Chester Cathedral Popped into see how the set up for this year’s Exhibition was going. It doesn’t open until Thursday but there were test trains running and looking great. According to Pete just signals to be all wired up tomorrow and then ready. The floor of the Cathedral has a slope of 7 inches!!!!!!! which they have to level the best they can. The Hornby Pullman will have 5 coaches not 7, as it is not able to pull the full length train…….. and we think we have challenges. Spent over 30mins speaking with Pete and was great to see. Well worth a visit for £5 (all for the Cathedral) as the Cathedral loses government funding from 1st August….. if it is not too far for you…..
