A friend of mine mentioned he had come across a box of old railway models when cleaning out his loft. He told me he hadn’t “played trains” for years. Whereas he should have said “decades”. Loads of Triang track and locos, rolling stock etc. locos feature Magnadhesion! That’s a new one on me. I remember my Aunty buying us Knowledge Magazine in colour when I was very young, but all this kit is / was wrapped in an even earlier version in B+W ! From 1961. And a lot of it looks like it hasn’t been unwrapped since then! I have lots of research to do!
