I’ve been working on my display board the last few evenings. Made some good progress. The bridge is complete (not shown) and I’m happy with the backdrop. I’ve spent this evening doing the rusted corrugated fencing in the industrial yard and making the chainlink fence that will go between the track and the industrial units. The fence will be slightly elevated as the posts are embedded into some greyboard. It will be sprayed grey tomorrow to look like concrete posts and then glued down trackside and the chainlink and barbed wire added. The I will fix the track in place, ballast right up to the kerb stone and then use some putty to cover the screws. I want to have a smallish grassed area where I’ve painted green, but not sure what would be best to give it some texture, so any recommendations would be appreciated!
