TMD update No. 4. - Painting the track bed & laying cork. Progress is being made… As the title has suggested, I have now painted the lower level board in a brown base colour so when the scenics are added, this will provide a great starting point. Laying the cork presented a conundrum for me - do I, don’t I. A lot of the TMD’s I have visited are run down, unkempt & generally missing some TLC. However, I have decided that I will use a 3mm cork base under the trackwork as my TMD will be a relatively new set up. More to follow….
