Evening all. I'm now at that stage where I'm adding the detailing bits to the 5 inch gauge loco. Things like door handles, pipes and chassis parts. Some I can buy but there are some bits I can't, so massive thanks to @Tiddlesbury who has kindly agreed to 3D print them for me. 👍 Other things I'm creating myself using 'everyday' items. Today's example are the air tanks that you find strapped to the sides of class 07 shutters, often painted black, but shown here in white. My plan is to use spun copper drier filters that you find attached to compressors in fridges and other air conditioned appliances. I've bought 2 brand new ones off ebay for £7. Once I've soldered some pipes to them and created straps, I think they will be about right. We shall see. 🤣 #5inchgauge
