Evening Train People! @Dave & Jane - djp45mail @Wagons Mike Longest rake of wagons on the layout just now. Class 47 709 The Lord Provost in Scotrail livery hauling 13 Accurascale PTA Bogie Tipplers (empty!) in British Steel grey and orange livery. If I swapped out a couple of couplings I could get 14 in the rake. The class 47 is a Hornby TTS chassis with a Lima body grafted on. Quite proud of this one as I did a double decoder installation. A Hornby TTS decoder at one end controls the loco as well as running lights and cab light on No.1 end, the second decoder controlling running lights and cab light on No.2 end. Means I can switch off the rear marker lights when the loco is hauling a train, or switch them on if it’s running light (if that makes sense!!!). Speaker upgraded to a Mega Bass from Richard at Roads and Rails. I think it sounds good for a cheap end TTS decoder…! Cheers Ross.
