Sorry I’ve not posted much lately, I’m having issues with the camera on my phone and I’ve lost a bit of enthusiasm at the moment, probably down to work, family and friends who need me more than the railway, but I managed a few hours of tinkering with some of my older stock I’ve had in storage for sometime that haven’t had a look in due to all these shiny new locomotives that draw me in like a fool! Anyway I thought I’d start getting my Heljan 47’s out as I’ve got a soft spot for them and realised how much attention they needed to get them running again, cleaned up 47810 Porterbrook in virgin livery, removed all the gunk and grease, lubricated the gears and cleaned the wheels, now it’s probably running better than I remember it ever did before, one down and about 4 more to go! Sorry about the picture quality 🙈
