Morning all, this video hopefully give you an idea of the Doon Valley Railway that Jane and I are volunteer members. This video is from way back, but along with many others, we are trying to promote the DVR as it is a heritage railway for a start, and a functioning Industrial one. We have the 50th Anniversary on the 29th September, so watch out for photos from us. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zw9cqQAzIpY Some photo's from last Sunday, the station at Waterside, sadly some of the old rolling stock, now unusable and looking out from the train on the short run we have at the moment. We also have a shop, where you buy the ticket to go on the train, there are also books and gifts available. There is also the Signal Box Café, yep being a retired (or retarded chef) I help out in there at the moment, its' great fun.
