AirCon / Heating Hey All We are proceeding with a loft conversion, which will become a layout room and spare room. There will be five dormer windows and a Velux in a small shower / toilet room. Currently, the ground floor is all wet underfloor heating and the first floor traditional radiators. New roof going on too so insulation levels will be top spec. The architect, HVAC engineer and builder can’t agree on heating options. The options are: - AirCon (that heats and cools); and / or - Wet Underfloor heating - Wall Radiators HVAC engineer basically says no need for radiators or underfloor as the Aircon will do it all. Builder says lofts get really hot so just put a few radiators in for really cold nights and the Aircon will do the rest. Architect is convinced the only solution is wet underfloor heating and Aircon. I’m interested if anyone has any direct experience of this, especially for a loft layout room. If so, what are your views? Thanks!
