Good morning all. Just a short update from Dolphin Junction as not a lot happened since my post at the weekend. I have been having a go at weathering to an old Tri-ang 5 plank wagon that I bought as a kid back in the late 60`s or early 70s. It needs a little more rust of various shades I think but I like it, hope you guys do too. The wheels I bought yesterday and now it runs well. I am also thinking of painting the buffers either red or white. I know that it is not accurate but I just thought it might make it stand out a bit - Any thoughts Yes / No ??????? The load will consist of 2 cable drums which again were brought also back in my previous life and I have just played around a bit with them as originally they were plain red and noting else. The other thing is that I had a set of 9 Accurascale PFA British fuels Containers which I purchased a while back and up until now they have been in the boxes so I have added some loads for them. I have done some with just coal and 2 with granite chunks which they may not have ever carried If that’s so, then I am sure that I will get reprimanded by the management at Carlettdale Holes Quarry`s later but hey ho. Who cares. It’s a shame that the glue is showing but that’s going to get sorted out at the weekend. That’s pretty much it folks, so until the next time happy modelling 😊
