Afternoon folks. The 5 inch gauge show table is now constructed, specially made to hold the loco weight. Call me a lunatic if you wish, but I've decided to build a siding scene for the loco to be displayed, rather than just a basic table. Remember, this is 5 inch gauge, so usual model scenic products just don't work. So... wait for it... my plan is to use real grass, real weeds, real plants and yes, real aggregate! 🙈 How? I have no idea yet. 🤣 Looks like I will need a watering can at the show tho. Imagine Gardeners Live show mixed with Warley. 🤣 Anyway, today I have started the scene by making new real wood sleepers, and fixing LOTS of track shoes, all in perfect alignment. Not as easy as it looks I can tell you. Just 11 weeks to go. 🙈 #5inchgauge
