The steam and diesel layout Hills of the North - Spirit of Shap was there, next to Euxton Junction. It’s always nice to see the trains being banked up Shap and the banker dropping off at the top! I didn’t take any photos, but did get several of Euxton Junction, including some videos. I really like the overhead knitting on this, along with the prototypical trains and running. It’s DCC with sound (all the layouts seemed to be!) and is operated very realistically, with very smooth running. I particularly like the way they have tensioned the overhead wires, which allows all the electric trains to run with their pantographs up. I watched for a long time and there was never a problem!
