Good morning all, pics to show one of the older style of rail lubricators. The yellow pot contains the grease and it’s fed to the rail by the large black pipe, where it feeds into a splitter and is sent to the rail. This all works from picture 2, where you will see the plunger pins that will depress when a train goes past and it will apply a small amount of grease to the blades attached to the rail pics 3 & 4. And the new solar style one in pic 5. Quite a step change from the older version.
