Ever since I was a child growing up near Preston, I’ve had a bit of a thing about a WYPTE 158. This isn’t a confession of an amorous nature…… I just remember the Leeds-Preston service flying through with this flash of red and thinking it was awesome! Luckily, having looked around in the past and always being disappointed, this beauty popped up on a certain selling site with full DCC fitted in both cars and detailing parts still with it. As an additional bonus, it wasn’t on at some ridiculous price as if it was a new one! So, I’m a happy bunny after a week of no modelling whatsoever with the kids off school, combined with hot weather and my conditions playing absolute merry hell with sleeping, going out, sitting and pretty much every other thing the human body is expected to do.
