The son of one of our friends, Matthew, came round today to run some of his trains on the big layout today, some of which hadn’t been run for nearly 20 years! Delighted to say that we got 5972 “Hogwarts Castle”, 43063 “Maiden Voyager” and 43093 “Lady In Red”, and A4 60020 “Guillemot” running the Heart Of Midlothian service! Now! We all know The Flying Scotsman service which leaves Edinburgh Waverley and London Kings Cross at 10am each morning, and apparently the Heart Of Midlothian service left Edinburgh for London in the afternoon! I never knew!! Anyway, the service left on time this afternoon. Oh, and Gordon and James stabled up for the night at Weasel Hill TMD! All good fun!!!
