One happy boy! Thanks so much for the advice on here, particularly @Ged . 😄 My husband did the soldering in the end (I'll do it myself next time!) but it was great to say 'that bit goes there and that bit goes there. Yes, I'm sure it does!' It's a bit noisy and still needs some polishing but by gum it actually runs!
