What’s the point!! Not everything on the layout goes to plan and, sometimes an ideal fix goes wrong. About a year ago I had to design a short bar to connect between the point motor and the tie-bar. All was well until this evening. I guess wear and tear took its toll on the styrene bar and, it shattered. So, I set about designing a bar made from some 0.8mm steel rod. Using an old drive shaft as a mini rod bending tool and, a pair of needle-nosed pliers, I fashioned the bar. Success! It worked (pic/video attached)
