Good evening all. It’s been ages since I last posted or even had a nosy about what you have all been up to. I don’t really have a good excuse other than work has been busy and my head has not been into modelling or anything else for that matter 😢. One reason and I have mentioned this before is the constant need to clean the tracks even to run loco`s for 10 minutes, it is a pain and takes the fun out of everything, so for the past 3 months, I have basically only been looked at the layout and nothing else. 🥴 But, as you can see, something is now happening. One problem I had was that to clean the track in the area to the rear and the left back and central was difficult. It required standing on the base board often causing damage. So I have decided to do major surgery and cut out an access hole. A new board will be cut to slot into the hole fingers crossed over the weekend. Then, once I have received the replacement parts for the road and paths, I will get it all put back together or at least that’s the plan and hopefully it will solve the problem and I will then get back into enjoying my layout once more. In the meantime, happy modelling and catch you all again hopefully in a couple of days and not months!!!!
