OVER BRIDGE BUILD - ADDING SOME DETAIL - Continuing with this project, I have added some simple detail before applying the wraps. I have added some underside detail to the deck of the bridge with little strips of 1.5mm card to give the effect of " girders" etc. I have also added two strips of 2mm card to each side of the upper side of the deck (the deck is 2mm card). This will be painted grey. The railings will be fitted by inserting the rail between two pieces of 1.5mm card (with a little piece of 1.5mm card separating both to allow the rail to fit between) and then fitted to the bridge. Coping for the walls of the bridge will be made from 3x3mm pine strip - I will use a small saw to "cut" the coping stone shapes to add a little detail. Further detail can be added after the wrap has been applied. The wraps can be applied in "one" piece instead of cutting separate pieces, simplifying the build. The wraps will be added at the stage I am currently at. I have also checked that the "farmer" will be able to access his land with his "modern" machinery!!😁
