This is how house of fraser is looking currently. I've still to install a set of doors, and also the upper level windows. These will be done, hopefully, next Friday and Saturday. The left hand side, and left hand display unit, are all in place, but I wanted to get the building upright, to be able to see how it looked. The windows on the upper levels will be sprayed white, to match how it was at Binns Dumfries, whilst the doors are cut from 1mm Scale Model Scenery Model Railway Buildings & Detailing Accessories modelling card, sprayed, and then glued onto cellophane. Once that's done, I can make a start on the centre and end window displays, for which I got a few things from Scoonie Hobbies today! I'll then work on one floor at a time, ground floor first, for which I have a few things from scale model scenery. I'm also going to add more raised vertical brick uprights, to make it look more finished. The middle section is going to have an extra raised horizontal brick section, so the word restaurant can fit on. For those wondering, it measures 25cm wide, 16cm high and 5cm deep. Compare progress with the real one. It was demolished in 1993.
