Sorry to be playing catch up but this is #postit #a for “arch” on Chandwell. The Chandwell viaduct is 17 arches long and the first five are infilled under the station throat by four thriving businesses of the town. Here we see WS Scott, Wharfe Motors, Norman & Son, and Scott & Hart. Sitting at the bottom of Station Alley, this is the dirty, dingy, and generally fragrant favourite spot for some of Chandwell’s youth to congregate and lurk of an evening.
