The Accurascale MK2B & MK2C coaches were introduced last year & were very well received. All are supplied with on-board lighting, (complete with stay alive) activated by using a wand. The overall finish on these coaches is superb with a number of warning panels picked out including the coach end details. Inside these coaches the interior is nicely represented complete with painted tables. Under the sole bar the detail is also well defined. Magnetic couplings are also in the box. Various coaches have been provided including TSO, BSO, BFK etc all in the popular liveries such as blue/grey, Inter City, NSE, Scotrail, TransPennine & West Coast Railways plus some Engineering stock including the Mobile Track assessment coach & a limited edition RTC MK2B twin pack. Accurascale also produced an ‘exclusive’ model portraying a BSO in the Civil Engineering/Inter City west coast staff & tool coach DB 977787. This was 1 of a handful that were repainted in the grey yellow ‘Dutch’ livery. A striking model & ideal for modelling departmental yards based in the North.
