#lighting Having competed the main part of this freight shed build, before securing the roof (which I will actually kit-bash to allow permanent access to the inside) I thought about some lighting. Although I have chosen to use LEDs, these are cool white and, having retired from industrial lighting, I can respectfully confirm that cooler colours were preferred in large warehouses, to allow colours to appear more realistic. However, I am also aware that warm white LEDs would represent the colour rendition of standard wire filament lamps. All that said, I simply wanted the interior to be seen. I 3D printed the lamp housings and used 5mm diameter LEDs to appear as a lamp within a safety housing glass. Mounted on a separate spar, this is then mounted through the roof trusses and spaced for each doorway. Now I have finished and, tested the first spar, I will complete the lighting with a second spar, to the rear of the internal loading platform.
