Having completed the two low relief warehouses, I had some spare time today and 'naturally', as you do, had time to think about the next scratch build! Looking for something "different" and something that I might be able to build, I thought of a "single beam hoist". The ones that I was familiar with were constructed from 'I' girders and were fairly substantial structures. To build a model of one would "be the ideal thing"🙂 Giving it some thought, and having come up with a plan, I am going to give it a go - I propose to make my 'I' beams from 1.5mm card and they will be roughly 6mm x 6mm. What can go wrong? I will try and find out!🤔
