Casper the friendly 02? With a delivery from shapeways, today I got a step closer to my dream of a working LSWR Adams 02 tank locomotive in #ngauge but still a way to go yet... Photos 1. The shapeways body and my card effort compared. I got pretty close I think. 2. Even with substantial surgery the motor housing won't go high enough. It would need to come out through the top of the boiler. 😔 3. More surgery and removing the magnets got the body down enough for show. 4. Layout pic 5. Layout pic So what's next? A coreless motor that won't take up so much space perhaps. 🤔 Open to advice. Cheers all.
