Justin's newsletters since the beginning of May hit a nerve! Some 3 years ago, I purchased 2 BB017 baseboards, put them together, and stored them. Then in September 2023, I purchased BB021, put it between the other 2 and found a space on a shelf. I doodled on paper, bought a copy of James' Hilton's book, "Small layout design", played about with Peco point templates, bought a couple of yards of track and 4 points. And there it stayed. I needed a prod. Then I saw a Peco ad for a PL-50 module and PL-22 on/off switches, plus PL-80 power feed joiners, I could dispense with the soldering iron! I have always had a problem using an Exacto track cutter, so purchased a razor saw. All I need now was the courage to use it. With Jason's comments ringing in my ears, I made a start. Over 2 days, the track was cut, power feed joiners inserted and a quick test of the electrics. It worked. My next decision: do I glue the track to the boards or pin it? What do you suggest? Thank you Justin for your well chosen words.
