#newcrew Moving on from yesterday’s populating of steam locos, today I have been starting on some new standing/working figures. Having bought some unpainted figures many years back, I spent the morning removing them from their packaging and trimmed away, where necessary, the burrs and mounting points. I then gave them a full black primer and, when dried, used a very light white dusting, spraying from above. This gives an effect of sun light on the figures. I then mounted each figure on its own 10mm square base of clear acrylic and have added the first colours to them - a thinned flesh colour on exposed areas. This has now started to bring them to life. Further colours over the next few days. Time to rest my eyes now🤪
