I’m thinking of getting a small foldable table that I can use for modelling from my armchair. There are times, I’m sure, when such convenience would encourage me to get some smaller modelling tasks completed, at times when I otherwise may not bother. I wondered if anyone has made such a purchase and can make a recommendation, as reviews are often mixed and conflicting thus creating confusion. My wants are as follows: Obviously needs to be REALLY sturdy. Height needs to be normal table height - around 28/29 inches or 70/74 cm. Table top size of around 60cm square. I’ve chosen this as I want it easily stored. For this reason, a top that folds in half to store would be good. I’ve seen some at 59/60cm x 40cm and I’m thinking this would be minimum size, being roughly A2. I guess i could stretch to a maximum of 75/80cm square, but that size would definitely need to fold in half. The leg braces would have to allow my knees to go under the table. Any advice, comments or suggestions will be much appreciated.
