Here are few shots of my entry into the Peco Rail200 build. I decided to go for diorama build rather than the modular one. It’s mad how quick the time has gone from the baseboard being delivered. I even gave up as I thought I’ve got no chance of getting it finished. I got back into a few weeks ago it started to come together nicely and having plans cancelled at the last minute today it gave me the extra time required to get it finished ( well almost) The build is based on the old Vic Berry’s scrap yard in Leicester. I don’t remember it as it had gone by 1991 and I was only 8 years old. Looking through lots of photos and even managed to track down an old book all about it. I sourced all the donor models off eBay, parts from SMS and goodwood scenics and set about the build. I had big ideas of what I wanted to achieve but had to scale them back once I started to place the models on the board as I soon realised how quickly the small base board filled up.
