Sorry, I've been quiet recently. My fatigue levels have meant I've been struggling. However, I have today entered Pecos railway 200 modelling contest. This is Philston, in memory of my late father, Phil Mills, who loved quirky things. The story is that Network Rail have just completed track renewal works including the disconnection of an abandoned siding. They used the disused station at Philston as an operating base and are now re-securing the site with new fencing. While fitting the fencing, the operatives have noticed some sheep that have escaped from a neighbouring field and are shooing them back. You may recognise some of the SMS products. I must say the gorse was a particular delight for me - peel off the backing paper and stick it on. A super simple but very effective product - it's a big tick from me @justin.noble
