Good morning all from Doon Valley Railway up here is Ayrshire. We are currently working on restoring our passenger Brake Van. After bringing it into our loco shed we decided to strip all the wood panels off. Although they looked ok, many were showing water damage. So here we are with about 80% of the panels removed and work well underway in paint stripping, new wood ordered and arrived yesterday, so now to get it complete before it's too cold and damp to paint. Watch this space (I hope you do). We are a hardworking group of volunteers up here and thoroughly enjoying it. Back soon.
