Hi all. I haven’t been posting much recently - I was away for the last two weeks of July and have been massively busy (and not entirely in the mood for modelling) in August. However, I’m very excited because my ESU ECoS should be arriving early next week, which should mean that I can gradually started to get trains running, one step at a time. I’m very much a ‘slow modeller’ - maybe a little bit each day, then a session each weekend - I just find that this suits me. Please do join me as my layout develops over the next year or two - I hope to get it to ‘exhibition standard’ even though it’s a home layout (at one point I was planning to exhibit it but realised that it was too big for me to handle). In the mean-time, here are some snaps of Didcot Railway Centre last weekend, upon which the 2nd half of my layout will loosely be based. Apologies for my finger covering the lens on the turntable pic - it was moving at the time and I’m not the best photographer in the world anyway! Thanks for reading/looking!
