Re: Ballasting. Has anyone used double sided sticky tape instead of the traditional watered down PVA. I have just test ballasted this length of scrap track in about a minute. I was wondering if I'm likely to encounter problems if done on a larger scale. The 2mm foam strip also forms the ballast shoulder and should deaden the sound too. I really hope this works. It's the best looking ballasted track I've ever done.
