Question from one of my 7 year olds… “Dad, if they make models with lights for the fires do they do it for trains flashing?” Some questioning later, I realised that he means that as steam locos can have firebox effects, can electric trains simulate arcing effects. I gave some thought to building something mounted under a train using old iPhone camera flash or similar but wasn’t able to answer his actual question. Has anyone seen it done? Thanks
