I have a Heljan 2-6-2 which I bought as a recommendation from the PECO book of track plans for OO9. It has been a disappointment in the 4 years I have had it. I don't think it will negotiate the 9-inch curves I have, even though the PECO plan had them. It also derails elsewhere. None of my other locos, steam, diesel, or electric do so, so my trackwork is not all bad! Has anyone else had problems? I know that Sam's Trains on YouTube tends not to rate the Heljan OO scale models very highly. It runs badly. I want to replace this model, but all OO9 models seem to be from either the Ffestiniog or the Talyllyn railways. They would be out of place on my line. Any ideas, OO9 or HOe?
