Today’s job: painting this 3d printed model, made by @Paul 50, of the Sanford brake van. The Sanford brake van was a unique, converted 0-4-0ST locomotive used on the 1ft 11in gauge Penrhyn Quarry Railway (PQR) in North Wales. Originally a 1900 Bagnall steam loco, it was purchased in 1929, worked briefly, and then converted in 1956 into a brake van/brakeman’s car to provide stability and weather protection on the main line to Port Penrhyn before the railway closed in 1962.
