No doubt everyone will have seen the devastation, following the fire in Glasgow City centre on Sunday evening. A beautiful building, that stood for over 175 years, destroyed in just 12 hours. This here is an instagram image of the building, from the mid 1980s, and note the Irn Bru clock, which was lit up at night. It stood from 1982 until 1997, and was replaced by an electronic advertising board, itself destroyed on Sunday night. In the circumstances, let's remember how good this scene was, and note the clock on the corner, above the entrance to Dixons. Hopefully, that is an idea for all of us, to put a clock on a building on our layouts, or for SMS to make a clock, for such a purpose. There's colour images of the Irn Bru clock, I'll post them here if I remember. https://www.instagram.com/p/DVq4qLKlGpa/?utm_source=ig_web_copy_link&igsh=NTc4MTIwNjQ2YQ==
