For those interested: Helsby and Ellesmere Port Docks: Even though it’s Easter the 4D02 2202 Hope (Earles Sidings) to Ellesmere Port Manisty Wharf set off 30mins late from Hope but was rerouted via Piccadilly to make time up. 66623 Lest We Forget had charge and is seen going through Helsby. Then we see if he docks area which has three crossings down to Manisty Wharf for the run round. Once back it reverses back and finally pulls forward and loading begins. Reduced to a mix of 20 MWA and MWA-C box wagons these are loaded with Fly Ask from the closed Fiddlers Ferry Power Station which is used in Cement production. The loaded train departed back to Guide Bridge leaving 25mins late from Ellesmere Port with the 6H46 0804 and we see it back at Helsby. Note the main crossing had a load of gravel removed before the train came.
