Hi, this is a great day, well for me anyway. After 20 months, well over a hundred buildings scratch built, an unknown number of figures painted, 120 trees made and 10 locos converted/adapted to look similar to those used on the various lines, the final board is now finished. Next weekend a kind local headmaster is allowing us to set up the 32 ft exhibition layout and iron out any flaws, which there will be. For those new or have not been following, the layout is based on /around WW2 on the Waterside, in Londonderry , N/Ireland. Unique around this time, as it had 5 different companies running 5 different tracks into Londonderry, on both sides of the river Foyle. 2 x 5ft 3inch, 2 x narrower gauge 3ft and a dual gauge on both sides of the river and across the lower deck of the Craigavon bridge, connecting the other 4 together. Our layout is one side of the river.
