A very relaxing day doing Ferry runs out of the Plymouth Barbican. First trip was up to Saltash and back. The last time I did this trip, Devonport had a lot of ships and subs. Now it’s just a yard full of knackered ships and moth balled subs waiting for disposal. While getting close to North Yard the skipper asked for any passengers (Me) taking photos or filming to stop until we reach beyond Bullpoint. Naturally, I, sort of, followed the warning 😉. Has we got closer, one of the MOD police boats got closer to check us out, I guessed straight away that I was being monitored as someone had a pair of binoculars looking straight at us and were more likely looking at us way beforehand. The ferry had a call on the radio just checking and went on there way, the skipper said they have been like this all week. I said that’s because the ship was loading ammunition and I noticed the warning penance on the mast, so guessed right away if the ferry got any closer or someone got spotted filming, the ferry would’ve been boarded. It’s a pain really has at North End/Bull Point jetty the other ships have been moored but couldn’t get a decent photo without getting caught. Oh well those ships looked knackered also, so I guess another trip is in order to try again. Back to the photos. The colour grading issue has started again, I think the biggest problem is the Apple Photos app and user error issues has the App has zero instructions and I’ve yet to find a really useful video tutorial. Anyway feel free to comment on anything.
