Ok - so I'm having a challenging afternoon & could do with any pointers or suggestions from the assembled multitude! I've spent a long time (as you probably know!) painting the brickwork of my engine shed kit. I'm now adding the mortar colour but I'm less than chuffed with the result. I've used a matt lacquer before adding the lighter colour but too much is being left behind & I'm also damaging the edge brickwork when wiping off the excess paint. Arghh - help!!
