Advice please people of RM As you may have seen from previous posts I’m currently building my first proper layout, I have so far 1. Painted the board 2. Laid down cork (glued and painted) 3. Rails painted in rusty rail 4. Holes drilled for point motors/rods power feeds Next steps Lay track (again) Clean contact areas Test run for a few days Start ballasting Build cab switchboard Have I missed anything in my planning process or suggestions for jobs to do before I go much further?
