2007 saw the Cross Country franchise get awarded to Arriva. Central Trains and Virgin Cross Country were replaced by Arriva CrossCountry Trains. During this time a number of Class 220/221 voyagers moved over with the transfer from Virgin Trains to CrossCountry and for a short term were being seen in a transitional livery. This being debranded Virgin Trains red or CrossCountry branded Virgin Trains red. My plan for this DCC fitted model is to remove the Virgin branding and add CrossCountry logos where appropriate. This will be a long term project! Today starts the debranding process.
