This was the arch detail being built up in layers for the town hall building from my scale drawing in 4mm, Simple card and paper built up to give the building lots of relief and depth. The plus side of that is it makes it very cheap to build and it’s fun to scratch build I think and try things out. I think starting with an accurate scale drawing helps a lot as you can iron out the design and any problems before you start building and you have an accurate guide to follow. The scale drawing took me about 4-5 hour to draw up but saved me so much time in the long run.
