Been rather quiet on here…time to change that! So I’ve moved into 4mm for a bit with the intention of finishing a few bits off my intention has been to have 4 A4’s with 4 ECML express trains. The Silver Jubilee, The Coronation, The Queen of Scots & The 1938 Pressure Ventilated Flying Scotsman set. Each A4 dedicated to pulling one. Yesterday I acquired my 4th and final A4, which was 4491 Commonwealth of Australia which has been renumbered to 4492 Dominion of New Zealand. She was based out of KX in 1938 fortunately 3 of my A4’s, 2510,4489 & 4492 were based at KX with 4497 acting as a spare at Haymarket and had been seen on the services I have mentioned above. My plan now is too get my 4mm PDK P1 to be finished off with a new motor & gearbox!
