I have been looking at resolving some issues on my layout using RailModeller Pro. I originally made a few boo-boos - like clearances not always being wide enough, only having half a run around loop and not being satisfied with the smooth running of my reversing spur. But maybe I have resolved them? The grey track already exists and the green track and baseboard would be new. Scary when you put the parts prices in and it comes back with a total that could have you reaching for an inhaler! I know the two phases don't mesh perfectly, but that is what I think flexible track is for! So, what else did I miss? Anything I really need to add? Needless to say, this is a long term project and costly, and that's without all the additional locos I would need to make the new layout not look like a ghost town! I guess it would also justify upgrading from DC to DCC? Really looking for feedback! (BTW, Portishead station is still not yet built!)
