#weekendmodelling - whilst waiting for the glue to dry on a re-laid point I assembled this lovely little, prototypical GWR buffer stop from Lanarkshire Models. This also afforded me the opportunity to try out my new, rather expensive, temperature controlled soldering iron to experiment with low temperature soldering. I intend to build some quite big and complex brass and white metal kits over the coming months so have a range of ‘test’ kits to make to build up skills and experience.
