I've finished off one the SMS 20ft containers today. The finished container shown below. After assembly, which was very straightforward, I spray with grey primer from a rattle can (Humbrol) and then painted using Games Work shop paints. Firstly a base coat (Thousand Sons Blue), then a wash (Nighthaunt Gloom), and dry-brushed (Russ Grey). The handles picked out in silver (Runethang Steel), after this wash (Agrathrax Earthshade). Finally rust shades using Lifecolor rust paints. I use an old brush and dab small amounts, commencing with the dark shade and gradually adding the lighter shades.
